My Thrill of the Find!

Hola Chicas,

This past weekend I had an exiting opportunity to meet with Brooke, a lovely Marshalls and TJ Maxx representative. She gave me a tour of an awesome underground Marshalls in Dallas and even more important she gave me tips on how to shop at these off-price retailers. You guys know I am huge fan of these stores, so I was more than ecstatic to meet with her.

From my last find at Marshall’s you guys also shared the love of shopping at these retailers. I will tell you all the secrets she gave me to help you out next time you stop by Marshalls or TJ Maxx.
·         Look carefully at the “compare at” value on the price
·         Shop often!
·         Get to know your store’s layout
·         Befriend your store manager (They can give you insider info.)
·         Try shopping the displays at the front of the store before easing into the racks.
·         Look for the purple tags. (Found on all types of clothing and accessories, these tags indicate a piece of elite designer merchandise normally found at upscale department stores.)
·         Never, ever, pass up a really good bargain.
So, when thinking of where to shop for new wardrobe pieces, keep in mind that over 10,000 new items are delivered each week to every store! Here are some of my great finds:
Steve Madden Bag:
Retails for $118

 Marshall's Price 39.99!
Steve Madden Belt:
 Only 12.99!
I fell in love with these home decor pieces! I will use them as jewelry holders and hang all my rings.
They were only 9.99 each!
Now to the outfit I wore: I am wearing a classic black blazer from F21, black tank, and my fave Zara Skirt.
I love this chandelier necklace from H&M. The red added the right pop of color to the outfit.
I also recommend buying blazers with fun linings. They add a little more character to your outfit.
 Nude heels are from Aldo.
Let me know what great deals you find at your local Marshalls or TJ Maxx. May your day be full of love and blessings!

Love,

IvonneStacy.

A Million Miles Per Hour

Hello Dolls,

The weekend is upon us once again. Can you believe it is almost September? I can't! I feel like everything in life is going a million miles per hour. For my readers who just started school again, may you have an awesome school year! I remember those days, lol! I couldn't sleep the night before thinking of my new outfit, seeing my friends, or in college it was more butterflies in my stomach because of the unknown. That is one major difference about high school and college. In high school you know what to expect but in college you really don't know all the three hundred people in your class, you get a random foreign teacher and you cant understand what in the world they are saying.... I speak from experience.....But always remember everything will be okay.

I am over both those chapters in my life and now I have entered the "Buying A Home" chapter! Oh my goodness I never knew buying your little place on earth would be so stressful. Be prepared chicas!

Now to the outfit: The hubby and I went to visit our new house in this 105 degree weather (bad idea). I decided for some pink short shorts from F21, white H&M top with an over-sized bow in the front,  tanned shoes and skinny belt from Aldo. Check out the look:

Count your blessings, stay safe, and have a wonderful weekend.

Love,

IvonneStacy.

PS: I know many of you were inspired by my last outfit, which makes me SO HAPPY!!!! Please send me pictures I would LOVE to see what you come up with! Here is another blogger recreating one of my looks. HERE.

I decided to pair the dress with gold accessories: Cool vintage necklace, F21 earrings and rings, and Steve Madden glitter heels. Guess how much this lovely dress was? A) 29.99 B)19.99 C) 49.99 or D) 14.99.........................If you chose D, you are correct!

Kaleidoscope

Hello Dolls,

Woohoo for Friday! You guys ready for the weekend? I def am! It was a long and stressful week, but I survived. Today's outfit post features a black skirt form Zara, an awesome colorful, flowy top from F21(reminds me of a kaleidescope) and pink wedges from urbanog.com.

The classic black skirt is a must have in every girls closet! When you buy timeless pieces you can wear them over and over and get your moneys worth. When I saw this skirt at Zara, so many ideas popped into my head. This is look #1 from many more to come. Hope you are inspired to add classic pieces to your wardrobe. A versatile closet staple can go a long way.
Have a wonderful and safe weekend.

Love,

IvonneStacy.

The Assassins!

Hi Girls,

This past weekend the hubby and I went to watch the Barcelona soccer  team play at the Texas stadium. It was pretty awesome except for the assassins! You are probably wondering what the hec, what does she mean the assassins??? Girls, the assassins were my Steve Madden shoes I wore to the game! It was horrible!!!!!! I had never felt pain like that, specially from shoes. Not even from all the crazy heels or wedges I wear.  I know this is gross, but I have the worst blisters EVER from these darn flats! Never again will I wear those shoes. Never Ever ....Ever...Ever....Here is the simple outfit I wore to the game: Bebe white top, high waisted blue jean shorts from F21 ,and the killer oxfords.

Tell me, has this ever happened to you? They say sometimes beauty is pain, but not for me! Goodbye oxfords! I wish you a rest of the week full of love and blessings. Thank you for stopping by!!!

Love,

IvonneStacy.

Polka Dots Parte Dos

Hola Chicas!

I know know....More polka dots! But I cannot help it. I fell in love with this dress when I saw it at F21. I am a sucker for anything that has a pussy bows too! Polka dots + pussy bow = I had to HAVE it. Last post some of you were interested in the price of the wedges, I paid forty bucks for them. I was walking by a random shoe store at the Galleria mall and they caught my eye. I also saw them on MayteDoll's blog, so fab!
There are so many sales going on right now that it is difficult not to walk out of the mall with a few bags! My solution to that problem is to stay clear! I've been avoiding the mall at all costs! Have you guys been splurging on the sales?

A little side note for those of you live in Texas; we will have a break on state and local tax on the weekend of August 19th-21st! Woohoo! Also that weekend H&M will finally open!

May you have a wonderful weekend full of blessings.

Love,

IvonneStacy.

Crisscrossed

Hola Chicas!

Can you believe it's August first?! I definitely can't, this year is flying by! I also cannot believe we haven't melted yet! This week our coolest temp will be 105!!! Stay safe and cool in this extreme heat ladies. Before I get to todays outfit I wanted to thank Inez from Style Chic 360 for the feature! I am so honored Inez! Also a warm hello and welcome to all the new readers! I am so excited to share my personal style with you and I really hope you get some inspiration for your own personal outfits.

This weekend I had two dinners to attend, so I decided on this bright orange dress from Zara. It was a fun flirty piece and I loved how the front crisscrossed. I found these wedges randomly walking by a shoe shop in the Galleria Mall. I know who wears black and orange, border line Halloween, but I think it worked out. Oh and I can't forget the pop of coral with my stud earrings. Check out the look:

Have a wonderful week full of love and blessings!

Love.
