Matchy Matchy

Hello Lovelies,

How do I wear bold black and white stripes? Simple, with matching bottoms and a matching jacket. It just so happened the military green on both pieces was very very similar. So why not wear it as if it was a suit combo. Check out the look:
If you have pieces in your closet that match exactly, don't be afraid to rock them together! Add a bold color or pattern in between to finish the look.
Have a day full love and blessings. Oh and I can't forget to thank you so much for visiting the blog.

Love,

IvonneStacy.

Pops of Mint!

Hello Lovelies,

Today's outfit is really simple; black Zara pants, flowy white top from F21, and thrifted black and white striped cropped blazer. But I do have to share with you my color obsession right now. MINT. It is such a great pop of color.
I had this Aldo necklace from about a year ago in my jewelry collection but it was a little rusted. Don't  you just hate that; when you have a piece you really love but it rusts, or it loses its luster? Solution: I bought a can of spray paint and viola! Made this rusted necklace a bright minty accessory.
This was definitely a great weekend DIY!
 Clutch: Only 12.99 at Target.
 Wedges: urbanog.com
I hope I've inspired you to revamp some of your old jewelry.
Have a blessed day!

Love,

IvonneStacy.

Peplum Ruffles

Hola Chicas,

Woohoo for Friday! I cannot wait to sleep in tomorrow, hopefully. I hate it when I don't have to wake up early but my body wakes up early anyway...Ugh! But then the days I need to wake up early I don't want to get up at all! What tha hec!
Anyway, enough of my rambling. I had these acid washed jeans, from way back in the day, all cooped up in the back of the closet. I was afraid they wouldn't fit anymore.

Thank you Jesus they still do, lol. The top I purchased last year at Target for like five dollars. It is perfect for this season since it has the peplum silhouette with a touch of ruffles. I paired this outfit with a statement gold and black necklace from F21, Steve Madden bag and heels.
I've been messing around with the sewing machine for the past two weeks. I've made a curtain, a tulle skirt, and hemmed up some great thrifted pieces. This weekend I will stop by the fabric store and see what else I  can try to make. I am so excited to show you girls. I hope to inspire your creativity and maybe create your own unique pieces.
Thank you so much for visiting the blog and leaving me your sweet comments. I greatly appreciate it!
Have a blessed weekend!

Love,

IvonneStacy.

Peplum Party

Hi Dolls,

One of the trends that I am so excited about this Spring season is the peplum. It adds some fun and flirtatiousness to a simple top, skirt, or dress. I finally went to H&M (I've been wanting to go for a while) and I found this amazing peplum polka dot top. I love the design. The exposed zipper and peek a boo in the back are just fab. What do you think, will you be rocking this trend?
What I am wearing: Zara white jeans, H&M blouse, Aldo nude heels, and F21 accessories.
For Valentines day I was a little disappointed until I walked into our bedroom and saw this! See, that whole day I thought he had forgot about Valentines Day! I was so sad, lol!
I walked into our bedroom and he had the most amazing magenta roses laid out on the bed. I was so surprised and relieved that he didn't forget.
Have a blessed rest of the day! I will have another peplum look this Friday.

Love,

IvonneStacy.

Polka Dot Remix

Hello Lovelies,

If you are thinking, hasn't she wore this already? Well, yes I have and you have a great memory, lol. I wore this in the summer and I am remixing this dress for a Winter look. I added a faux leather jacket from H&M, black tights, Aldo booties, and a red knit beanie. Polka dot dress is from F21. Check out the look:

Have a great weekend full of love and blessings!

Valentine's Teal

Hello Lovelies,

Happy Valentine's Day!
Hope your day is full of love and blessings; not only from your significant other, but from your family and friends.

The outfit below is not what I am wearing today, obviously I will  have to take pictures and share with you later. Today's post features:
Top and skirt from F21 and teal heels from Aldo.
I love these shoes! (Thanks Babe!) They are definitely a great pop of color. But I am not going to lie- pain is beauty with these. They hurt my feet!
Hope you like the look!
Love You All,

IvonneStacy.

Valentine Outfit Ideas

Happy Friday Lovelies,

Last night I was brainstorming in my closet on what to wear for Valentines Day. I still haven't decided but I do want to share with you some ideas. Maybe you will be inspired....
#1. Wear RED
Added my fave scarf as a major pussy bow. The secret to making the bow stay.....Pin the top part of the bow to your blouse or tabs- if it has any.
#2. You can never go wrong with a little black dress.
Adding statement accessories adds so much to a simple dress.
 #3. Wear Magenta or Pink
Adding a statement necklace around the collar is so chic.
 #4. Girly Dress
I love anything that cinches at the waist. It gives the illusion that you have a tiny waist!
#5. Wear bold stripes with hot pink.
You can take the blazer off and show your peek-a-boo!
 #6. Red Stripes
I would probably wear this outfit with black tights and black heels.
I know many of you fashionistas have statement necklaces in your accessory collection; so, I had to share this with you! I found these amazing necklace displays at Michael's (also Joanns') for three dollars each! I was SO excited, lol! My bedroom now looks like a little boutique.
Do you have your Valentines outfit ready or will you be doing some shopping this weekend?

Love,

IvonneStacy.
