Rotan, Honduras {Travel Diary}

Hi Guys!!

In January we took a seven day cruise to the Caribbean. Our destinations were Roatan, Honduras, Belize and Cozumel. We traveled on the Carnival Magic cruise ship. It's a beautiful floating city.
We've traveled to Cozumel before but it was our first time visiting Honduras and Belize.
I LOVE to travel to new places, so I was super excited.

{WARNING: Picture Overload}

First stop...Roatan, Honduras
 Docking Port:
(Above) Roatan's Port. It's a whole bunch of shops and guest services.
(Below)View of Mahogany Beach from the cruise ship.
Round trip on the chair lifts per person is $12.
The views are spectacular and totally worth the twelve bucks.
We usually don't buy excursions on the ship because you pay a premium price. When we got off the boat we walked towards the guest services and there they were offering round trip transportation and access to Bananarama Beach Resort for $22 per person.
About a 45 minute drive from Mahogany Bay is West Bay Beach were the resort is located. The bus drops you off on the side of the road and you walk towards the ocean.....Then you see this beauty. The clear turquoise blue water is hypnotizing.
(Above) We arrived at the beach before the swarm of tourists arrived. In case you were wondering about my  people-free pictures.
(Below) That is an actual tiki boat/ bar. They pulled up to the beach and people could either swim up to it or they would pick you up on a jet ski. Pretty cool.
We spent the whole day enjoying West Bay Beach. Once we were back on the boat there was an amazing sunset waiting for us.
Breathtaking.
Carnival is known for their towel creations. Here are just a few I wanted to share with you.
FOOD!!!! My husband and I are huge foodies. We love to eat at different places and try new cuisines. Here's just a few of our dinners on the ship. Steak, lobster, pasta, shrimp.....
In our cabin we had a ocean view. If you look closely on the left side there is a small sign.
 Guess what it says???
"Please DO NOT SIT HERE."
And you know me, I had to be a rebel...Not only did  I sit there, but I also took a picture, lol!
I am snowed in today, so I figured I would work on this post. I hope you guys enjoyed it and maybe inspires you to go on your own adventures too.
Oh and before I forget...The people from Roatan are wonderful. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The children working on the beach stole our hearts. We tried our best to help out as many as we could. God bless them.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Love,

Ivonne Stacy.

Spring 2015 HAUL

OH YEAH!
Whose ready for Spring? I definitely am. :) Especially today. There is an ice blanket covering the city and it's not fun.
As you can tell by the title of this post, I've been doing some cardio....AKA- shopping, lol!
First, is this beautiful romper. The colors scream spring.
(Agaci)
This little black romper is actually one of my buys from my Spain trip. It fits like a glove, so I had to get it. Can't wait to take outfit pics with this one. (Bershka)
#3 is this POLKA DOT beauty!!! You guys know I am a sucker for polka dots. So, it was only natural for me to gravitate to this romper. I can already picture it with a bright red lip and my knee high boots. (Agaci)
Crop CROP! This lovely red crop top was a Valentine's day purchase, but I didn't even wear it.
Soon ladies, soon. I can already picture an outfit with this one too.
(Forever21)
Blue Galore. This skirt is so beautiful.
The detail at the hem of the skirt is impeccable. (Francesca's)
Check out this beauty. I've been wanting a top like this for a while now, but never found something I truly fell in love with. Well, I found my match at F21. The top also came with the soft cami underneath.  Click here to see me rock it with some cool boyfriend jeans.
Ugh! The camera did not capture this blouse's true color. It is a beautiful baby blue. It's a classic top that I know I will wear over and over. (Forever21)
Another classic is this white blouse. I can wear this with a skirt, with jeans, slacks, shorts....Pretty much anything. Love pieces like this because they require no thought.
(Agaci)
Have you guys been shopping lately? Sound off in the comments :)

Have a great week!

Love,

Boyfriend Jeans +Floral Crochet Top

Happy Friday Loves,

Thank you so much for stopping by!
It's been a super busy week, and finally I have a few minutes to post a new outfit for you guys.
This outfit is a good juxtaposition- the edgy boyfriend jean paired with a feminine floral crochet top.
I wish the camera would have  captured the lipstick better, but it's a bright orange color. I love the pop of orange with the white and light denim.
 What am I wearing?
Cotton:On boyfriend jeans, Michael Antonio heels, F21 floral crochet top, Francesca bracelets, and my lipstick is from Spain.
SHOES!!!!!!!!!!!! I love shoes :)
Dainty little bracelets.
Stay tuned for more new posts coming your way. I am excited to use this blog as a platform to just express myself. Not necessarily just fashion, but whatever the hec I want. Hence the new title- Ivonne Stacy Style- THE BLOG. Cheers to the weekend, new beginnings, and creativity!

Have a wonderful weekend.

WHITE Valentine

Happy Friday Loves,

Cheers to the three day weekend! Valentine's day is tomorrow and I wanted to put a not so typical V-day outfit together for you. Well, I dressed for my husband. He loves it when I wear jeans and keep it simple. But you know me, I cant keep it that simple! So, to finish the all white sophisticated look, I paired it with my favorite heels from Betsey Johnson.
They add that special touch and the pop of red.
Check out the look:
What am I wearing?
Agaci white blouse, Charlotte Russe white boyfriend jeans, and Betsey Johnson red bow heels.
Lipstick: Spotlight Red by Wet n Wild.

I pray you'all have a wonderful weekend.

Ivonne Stacy.

Monochromatic Maroon + Knee High Boots

HELLO there Strangers!

Hope you all are doing great. I am starting to get back in the groove of normal life once again. I am feeling healthier and in a much better place than I was just a few weeks ago.

So, lets get to it!
With Valentine's Day right around the corner, I figured I would put together a look for you guys. (Shhh, don't tell anyone, but I have another look on Friday. Yay!) Anyway, for this look I didn't want to stick with the traditional bright red. Instead, I went for a more deep red- aka maroon. It's deeper, more sophisticated and feels more my age. Hope that makes sense.
Check out the look:
What am I wearing?
Floppy black hat is from Versona.  Forever 21 blouse and shorts. Steve Madden knee high boots.
Kate Spade purse.
I am seriously in love with this little Kate Spade purse. It's mini- yes, but it just perfect. My cell, my wallet and my lipstick for the day fit just right. I even have a small Bath and Body Works lotion up in there too.
You guys, I love these Steve Madden boots. The gold zipper adds a sexy touch. I was so disappointed when the tabs to the zipper broke off :(. I went to Hobby Lobby and found these large gold safety pins. I think it makes my boots look unique and now I can zip them up and down.
Blessings to you all this Tuesday.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by the blog.
I hope you enjoyed the look and talk to you soon.

Love,

Ivonne Stacy.
