SURPRISE! I'm Pregnant!

SURPRISE! I'm PREGNANT!

We are expecting our first Baby this December!
I still can't believe it. It is very surreal for me. Surreal for the both of us.
Here is the story in short....
I had lost hope I would see myself having my own children.
I never thought I would experience pregnancy or having my big ole' belly.
Only my family and close friends knew about our struggles with conceiving. I never shared it with you guys, well because it was really hard for me. It was something I was battling with daily and I would get very, very emotional.
We had already experienced a tremendous loss with an ectopic pregnancy. It's really difficult to experience the loss of a baby when you wish to have them so badly. I felt like my body was sabotaging me. I was also diagnosed with PCOS and made the mistake of Googling it. (Will have to write about this on a future post.) The constant questioning of family and friends asking us,"when are you guys gonna have babies?" doesn't help. It always brought to mind the pain and hurt we had gone through and continually dealt with.
When things don't go as planned all you can do is lean on God and trust his word.
I prayed and prayed that whatever his will was for my husband and I, we would accept and move forward. If you follow me on Snapchat you saw little peeks of us going to our weekly classes for Adoption. We knew that regardless if we could have our own or not- we wanted to be parents.
As always God's grace and love always comes through. He has blessed us.
It definitely hasn't been easy for me (the sickness and pains are no joke), but hey- one day at a time.
I can definitely say that my husband and I have a different perspective on our child. We are beyond grateful and excited because of everything we have been through. We still can't believe it you guys.
Please pray for us as we embark on this new journey.
As always, thank you to my loyal readers who have continued to visit the blog and leave me your sweet messages on social media. I am forever grateful for your love and prayers.

Also, if you are having troubles conceiving or infertility issues please have faith. God knows the desires of your heart and he will give you peace and grace. Even when we are so undeserving.
I was thinking of making a video talking about my experience, but it will take time. I am enjoying this moment I never thought I would have.

Love,

Ivonne Stacy.
